A huge thank you to Glenn for giving up his Sunday to drive to Montreal SPCA to pick up 15 year old Toulouse! Toulouse has a significant heart murmur and many mammary masses. Toulouse has settled in well in her short time here at the Haven, having reserved her seat on the sofa. She will be making a visit to the vet to go over her file and determine how to keep her as comfy as possible.
Update:
Our sweet Toulouse had her vet appointment with X-rays to come next week. She does have a significant heart murmur and lumps on and off her mammary chain. Toulouse also has an Oronasal Fistula which I will be keeping a close eye on. This is an opening between the oral and nasal cavity. Even though she has all these issues she is running around with the other dogs. She acts like a 15 month old puppy instead of a 15 year old dog!
